WHY BRASSDALE

What We Attend to, and Why

Honest About Trade-offs

Our courses do not promise outcomes. They help you see your situation clearly so that choices are yours to make with open eyes.

Malaysian Context

Every course is written for Malaysian financial life — EPF, SSPN-i, local succession law, ringgit pricing, and the particular rhythms of midlife here.

Paced for Adult Learners

Material is released at a pace that allows reflection. There are no quizzes with timers. You are not being tested — you are learning something for yourself.

Tangible Materials

Each course includes printed or printable working documents — ledger templates, worksheets, and planning workbooks — built for use, not display.

Written for 40+

The content addresses the specific pressures of midlife and beyond — not general personal finance for someone starting out, but the particular questions that arrive later.

No Sales Pressure

Our courses are not sales funnels for financial products. We have no affiliated brokers or product commissions. The only thing we offer is the course itself.

QUESTIONS

Things People Often Ask

Do I need a financial background to take these courses?

No prior knowledge is assumed. The courses are written for adults who are thinking carefully about their own situation, not for people with accounting or finance training. Practical numeracy and a willingness to reflect on your own finances are all that is needed.

How are the courses delivered?

Courses are delivered online, with written lessons, downloadable materials, and structured reflection exercises. Sessions are released on a weekly schedule to allow time for reading and application between each one. There is no live video component — you proceed at your own pace within the schedule.

Can I take more than one course at a time?

It is generally advisable to complete one course before beginning another. Each course asks for a degree of reflection and practical engagement, and the value comes partly from giving each topic the attention it requires. That said, if your circumstances are pressing on two fronts simultaneously, we are happy to discuss your situation.

Are these courses specific to Malaysia?

Yes. All legal references, financial instruments, and cost benchmarks are drawn from the Malaysian context — EPF, SSPN-i, the Companies Act, Malaysian tertiary education fees, and so on. The courses are not adaptable for use in other jurisdictions without significant revision.

Is the course fee a one-time payment?

Yes. The fee listed for each course is a single payment covering access to all sessions, downloadable materials, and any worksheets included. There are no recurring charges, subscription fees, or additional purchases required.

What if the course is not a good fit for my situation?

We encourage you to contact us before enrolling if you have questions about whether a course suits your circumstances. We would rather spend fifteen minutes on the telephone helping you decide than have you enrol in something that does not serve you well. Please reach us at +60 3-2167 8429 or at [email protected].
