Information We Collect
We collect personal information in the following circumstances:
- When you submit an enquiry form on our website — typically your name, email address, telephone number, and the message you choose to send.
- When you enrol in a course — your full name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and payment details (processed securely via our payment provider; we do not store card numbers).
- When you communicate with us by email or telephone — the content of that communication and any personal details contained within it.
- Automatically when you visit our website — technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit, and referring URL, collected via cookies and similar technologies. Please see Section 5 for details.
We collect only what is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
SECTION 02
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiries and provide information about courses.
- To process enrolment, issue receipts, and administer your participation in a course.
- To deliver course materials and communicate updates relevant to your enrolment.
- To send administrative communications such as scheduling reminders or changes.
- To improve our website and courses by analysing aggregate, anonymised usage data.
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations under Malaysian law.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling.
SECTION 03
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia). Our processing is based on one or more of the following grounds:
- Consent — where you have actively provided information through a form or communication.
- Contractual necessity — where processing is required to administer a course enrolment you have entered into.
- Legitimate interests — where we have a reasonable operational interest that does not override your rights, such as improving our services or maintaining the security of our systems.
- Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable Malaysian law.
SECTION 04
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers — third-party companies that assist us in operating our website or delivering courses, such as our payment processor and email delivery service. These providers are required to handle data securely and only for the specific purpose for which it was shared.
- Legal requirements — where disclosure is required by Malaysian law, court order, or a request from a regulatory authority.
- Business transfers — if Brassdale were to be acquired or restructured, personal data held by us may form part of that transfer. We would notify you before your data became subject to a different privacy policy.
All third parties with whom we share data are required to observe standards consistent with this policy.
SECTION 05
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies — small text files placed on your device — to operate certain features and understand how visitors use the site. We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to function. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand which pages are visited and how visitors navigate the site. Data is aggregated and does not identify individuals.
- Preference cookies — remember choices you make, such as cookie consent.
You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie banner on our website or through your browser settings. For full details, please read our Cookie Policy.
SECTION 06
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.
- Enquiry records are retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact.
- Enrolment and financial records are retained for seven years in accordance with Malaysian accounting and tax requirements.
- Course participation records are retained for five years after course completion.
- Website analytics data is retained in anonymised, aggregated form and is not subject to personal data retention limits.
When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
SECTION 07
Your Rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent for processing where consent was the basis for collection.
- Request that we limit or cease processing your data in certain circumstances.
- Receive a copy of your data in a structured format, where technically practicable.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected] or +60 3-2167 8429. We will respond within 21 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
SECTION 08
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), restricted access to personal data within our organisation, and secure data storage.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely without risk. While we apply careful measures, we cannot provide an absolute guarantee of security. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
SECTION 09
Children
Our website and courses are intended for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it promptly.
SECTION 10

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
If any change materially affects how we use personal data you have already provided, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.
