OUR COURSES
Three Volumes Written for Where You Are Now
Each course addresses a specific financial question that arrives in the second half of life. Read the full descriptions to decide which one is right for your situation.
Back to HomeWritten Lessons
Each session is a written document — careful, thorough, and designed to be read at your own pace rather than watched on a timer.
Weekly Release
Sessions are released on a weekly schedule to allow for reflection and application between each one. You proceed at a pace suited to adult learning.
Practical Materials
Every course includes printable templates, worksheets, or workbooks designed for actual use alongside the reading, not merely for downloading.
The Household Ledger
A four-week course for adults who would like to keep a simple monthly ledger of household finances — not a budgeting system or an app, but a quiet handwritten record of inflows, outflows, and small reflections. Participants are walked through setting up the ledger, choosing the few categories that genuinely repay attention, and developing the modest weekly habit of bringing the records up to date.
The course presents this as a contemplative practice rather than a productivity tool. Includes a printable ledger template and a guide to keeping the practice over years rather than months.
What Is Covered
- How to set up a personal ledger from scratch
- Choosing categories that mean something to your household
- The weekly habit of keeping records current
- Monthly review and reflection practice
- How to sustain the practice over years, not weeks
